Description
The Marquis of Granby is a public house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features both pantile and slate roofs, along with three brick gable stacks. The building has a two-storey structure with a two-bay section to the left and a three-bay section to the right.
On the left side, there are two tall glazing bar sash windows, with an adjoining doorway that has a 20th-century door. The central doorway on the right also has a 20th-century door and is flanked by two smaller glazing bar sash windows. Above the central doorway, there are two tall glazing bar sashes to the left and two smaller glazing bar sashes to the right, all set beneath flush ashlar wedge lintels.
