Description

This cottage, originally two cottages with an attached barn, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof. A tall double red brick gable stack is prominent on the building. The central cottage features a central doorway with a four-panel door, flanked by single three-light sliding sash windows. To the right, there is another three-light sliding sash window and a blocked doorway, while to the left, there is an opening with plank shutters that leads to the original barn. All openings are topped with thick wooden lintels.
