Description
Laburnum House and Country Set Salon is a house and shop built in the early 18th century and early 19th century. It features coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables. The building has a single moulded ashlar gable stack and a single brick ridge stack, with brick dentilated eaves and flush quoins. It is two stories high and has four bays. The off-centre doorway has a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by a single margin light sash on either side, with a blocked opening to the right. Above the doorway, there are four margin light sashes, all with wooden lintels. The east gable front includes an early 19th-century pilastered shop front featuring a central four-panel door flanked by shop windows, with a hood above supported on curved brackets. Above this, there is a single margin light glazing bar sash with a wooden lintel.
