Description
A pair of cottages with an attached former barn/outbuilding, dating from the early 18th century, located on Rectory Road, Great Haseley. The cottages are constructed of limestone rubble with brick dressings, and the barn is weatherboarded. The roof is thatched and features brick stacks. Originally a single range, it comprised two 2-unit cottages. The cottages have a single storey with attics. The front elevation has an irregular arrangement of 2- and 3-light casement windows, along with 2 plank doors. Most of the ground-floor window openings are topped with segmental arches. Dormer windows light the attic space. An outbuilding, originally 2 bays, was converted to a cottage with inserted casement windows. It has a half-hipped roof with 2 ridge stacks and a gable stack to the left. The overall appearance is largely unaltered. The interiors were not inspected.
