Description
A cottage row, now comprising two houses, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and some brick dressings, and has a thatched roof with brick and stone stacks. It is one storey high with attics. The irregular front elevation is lower to the left and features three plank doors, the one on the right combined with a two-light casement window, all set under a brick segmental arch. There are three further casement windows and two small dormers. A stone stack with a brick shaft is located to the left of the centre, and a stack of old thin bricks is present on the right gable. The appearance of the building is largely unaltered. The interior of No. 5 has not been inspected.
