Description

This is a small house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is built of limestone rubble and has a thatched roof with brick stacks. The building likely originally comprised two main rooms with a gable outshut. It has one storey and attic space. The front of the house, which faces Mill Lane, has been altered. The gable end facing Rectory Road (to the right) has four single-light casement windows, probably dating from the 19th century, with ashlar quoins and moulded stone lintels. Dormer windows are present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area.
