Description
This is a cottage located at 15 Main Street, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone rubble, with brick and ashlar dressings. The roof is made of pantiles and features two brick gable stacks. The building has brick dentilated eaves and a plinth. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a six-panel half-glazed door and is sheltered by a 20th-century wooden trellis porch. On either side of the door are single 2-light glazing bar sliding sashes. Above the door, there is a central single blind painted window, flanked by single 2-light glazing bar sliding sashes, all of which have segment-headed, wedge ashlar lintels.
