Description

This is a late 17th century and early 19th century farmhouse, now divided into two houses. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has pantile roofs with a single ridge and three gable stacks, alongside red brick eaves. The east front of the building has three bays and two and a half stories. It features ashlar coped gables with kneelers, and ashlar quoins. The central doorway has a panelled door and a narrow overlight. Single three-light sliding sash windows are located on either side, with two similar sashes above, all under ashlar lintels with keystones. Above these windows, there are two gabled dormers with two-light sliding sashes. To the north is a single-story outbuilding; on the right, there is a plank door followed by a two-light sliding sash, then another door and a fixed light, all under wooden lintels. The south front has an off-centre plank door, to the right of which are a four-light casement, a smaller four-light casement, and a three-light casement, followed by two garage doors. To the left is a projecting four-light casement and a two-light sliding sash, all with wooden lintels. Above are two three-light casements, and a single light casement to the left; to the right is a single three-light raking dormer.
