Description
Beckside Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding date from the late 18th century and mid 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with rubble and brick dressings, topped with pantile roofs and featuring two brick gable stacks. The building has a brick plinth and flush quoins and is two storeys high.
The main three-bay block has a central doorway with a plank door, flanked by two-light windows; the left window is a sliding sash with glazing bars, while the right has 19th-century casements. All these openings have segment-headed rubble wedge lintels. Above, there is a single sliding sash and a single casement, both two-light. To the left, there is a single-bay extension with a four-panel door and a two-light casement with a segment brick head, above which is a smaller similar casement. Further left, there is a single-storey outbuilding featuring a single and a two-light casement, along with a plank door. The property is currently neglected.
