Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Scowpick. It is constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring flush ashlar quoins. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in pantiles, with ashlar coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The cottage is a single storey with an attic. Originally, it had three bays; the central doorway has been partially blocked and now contains a 20th-century window with glazing bars, flanked by a single, similar window. Two dormers above also have 20th-century glazing bar windows. A 20th-century brick extension has been added to the rear.
