SK 17 NW PARISH OF WHESTON 3/43 Upper Farmhouse and attached outbuildings

Farmhouse and attached outbuildings. Mid and late C18. Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, central ridge brick stacks, plain tiles, stone slates and corrugated sheeting. House part: two storeys, three bays with single and 3-light windows with flush mullions and surrounds, all with C20 casements. Doorway to west end with quoined surround and C20 half glazed door. Outbuilding attached at west end, two storeys, four bays, slightly advanced beyond house part, with quoining. Two doorways and two windows to ground floor, one doorway now blocked to form third window and three square taking-in doorways to first floor, all with stone frames. Outbuilding attached at east end, single bay, with plain opening to first floor.
