Description
This is a cottage located on Creeton Road, dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in 1783 and the mid-19th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar dressings and quoins. It has a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and two stone gable stacks that have moulded cornices and bases.
The cottage is a single storey with attics and presents a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door that is set within an advanced keyed ashlar surround, topped with a flat lintel and a raised keystone dated 1783. On either side of the door are single three-light casements, which also have flush keyed ashlar surrounds, lintels, and keystones. The roof includes two raking dormers featuring plain casements with rendered cheeks.
