Description

Beehive Cottage is an early 19th century cottage located on Sleaford Road in Wellingore. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar detailing, and has a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks. The cottage is single storey with an attic, and has three bays. A central doorway features a plank door and a glazed gable porch, with single 2-light sliding sash windows on either side, each set beneath a segment-headed wedge lintel. Three gable dormers are situated above, each with wavy barge boards and a single 2-light casement window. The building is included on the heritage list solely for its group value.
