Description

The Jug and Glass Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Queens Walk in Nether Langwith. It is constructed of dressed coursed rubble with flush ashlar quoins. The roof is covered in concrete pantiles, with a single ridge stack and a single left gable rendered stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has four bays. A panelled door sits within a doorway featuring a splayed lintel with a slightly projecting keystone. To the left of the door is a single sash window with glazing bars, also with a splayed lintel and slightly projecting keystone. To the right of the door are two smaller sash windows with glazing bars, and two similar sashes above. All windows have painted lintels. At the rear are lean-to extensions, and a line to the right of the doorway suggests a former extension.
