NETHER LANGWITH CUCKNEY ROAD (South side) Brook House Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C18. Possible earlier build. Render, over dressed coursed rubble and brick. Slate roof with single right gable and 2 ridge dressed coursed rubble stacks. Set on a chamfered plinth. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Doorway with rendered porch and inner 6 fielded panel door, the top 2 panels now glazed. To the right are 3 low glazing bar sashes, to the left 2 glazing bar sashes with 6 similar sashes above. All sashes have painted splayed lintels. Projecting from the left is a lower rendered dressed coursed rubble and pantile 2 storey wing with 2 brick gable stacks and no openings. To the rear are 2 two storey wings, that to the left being part brick.
