NETHER LANGWITH QUEENS WALK (North side) Langwith House

G.V. II

House. Early C18 with later C19 and C20 alterations and extensions. Dressed coursed rubble. Pantile roof, hipped to the left. Single red brick right gable stack. Originally L-plan. 2 storeys plus garret, 3 bays. Central doorway, C20 glazed door. To the right a single casement, to the left a single small fixed light. Above the doorway is a single glazing bar casement with lintel and, to the right, a single small sash. To the left, set back, is a dressed coursed rubble single storey, single bay, wing with stone coped parapet and single small fixed light. The rear wing has a single red brick right gable stack. The openings are later C19.
