Description
This barn, dating from around 1750, is located adjacent to the west wing of Alfrick Court at the rear. It features a combination of timber framing with brick infill and brick construction, all set on a brick plinth and topped with a tiled roof. The barn consists of six bays, including two wagon bays with storage bays on either side. There is a 19th-century brick outshut on the left side of the farmyard elevation. The gable end walls are made of brick and do not have wall posts. A door to the left wagon bay on the road elevation has been blocked with brick that matches the original. Inside, there is a central brick partition, and the roof timbers include raking struts and trenched purlins.
