Description
This barn, located approximately 25 meters south of the farmhouse at Alcester Warren Farm, dates back to the early 17th century. It features a timber frame with diagonal braces and brick infill, along with a high brick plinth and a tiled roof. The structure consists of three bays, with the left return side and rear showcasing jowled posts and exposed framing. The right return side has been rebuilt in 19th-century brick. Inside, there are jowled posts, retaining walls, and diagonal braces, along with a queen strut roof that has trenched purlins. This barn is part of an interesting group of farm buildings.
