Description

Clay Green Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has later additions to the rear. It features a timber frame with sections of wattle-and-daub and brick infill, topped with a tiled roof. The building has a hall and cross-wing type plan, consisting of a single bay "hall" and a two-bay cross-wing. It is a single storey with an attic. The left side of the main elevation includes two 20th-century ground floor casement windows and a 20th-century doorway, along with two 19th-century attic casements. The main range has a 19th-century ground floor casement window. An external brick stack is located at the right gable end.
