Description

Alfrick Court is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of painted brick with a stucco facade and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features five bays, with a two-storey, three-bay wing to the left. The eaves have simple moulding that is also repeated on the verandah of the main facade, which is supported by six fluted Ionic columns. The windows are primarily glazing bar sash windows, except for the plain 19th-century sashes on the ground floor of the main part. The central bay of the main part has a panelled double door, while the centre bay of the extension has a part-glazed door. There are brick chimney stacks at each end of the main facade. The rear elevation, which faces the farmyard, includes a central doorway with a pilastered surround, an open pediment, a barred segmental fanlight, and a six-panelled door.
