Description
High House Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with a slate roof. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a five-bay facade with sash windows that have glazing bars set beneath skewback arches. The central front door is partly glazed and topped with a semicircular fanlight. There is a semicircular hood supported by brackets and fluted pilasters, which is likely a modern addition. The building also has a moulded brick and dentilated cornice. On one side, there is a three-bay elevation that includes a gabled dormer with a decorative barge board. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, with two front axial stacks, one rear axial stack, and one gable-end stack. There are later side extensions to the farmhouse.
