Description

The limekiln in the garden of 'Fourways' is a disused structure dating from around 1830. It is built of brick with outer walls made of flint. The kiln features four accurately centred barrel-vaulted passages, one of which is blocked, surrounding a central pier. Each face of the pier has arched chutes, and the kiln has an infilled bell.
