Description

This 18th-century house, located immediately south of the churchyard on Church Street in Litcham, features a 20th-century butcher's shop adjoining its north side. The building is constructed of brick and topped with a black pantiled roof. It has two storeys and consists of four bays of sash windows with glazing bars, all set under skewback arches. The front door, which is raised and fielded panelled, is positioned opposite an off-centre axial stack. The door case is adorned with engaged Tuscan columns that support a moulded pediment. Additional architectural details include a moulded brick cornice, rusticated quoins, platbands, and tumbling-in on the gable ends.
