Description
Blenheim House, built around 1840, is a house located on Church Street in Litcham. It is constructed of brick and features slate roofs. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a single-storey extension to the side and rear. The main block is two storeys tall and has a two-bay north facade along with a single bay side facade, both featuring sash windows with glazing bars set beneath skewback arches. Clasping pilasters are present, and there is a flat-roofed porch on the side that includes a two-leaf door with glazed upper panels and octagonal glazing bars. The single-storey extension has a pedimented doorcase, and the roofs are hipped. Surrounding the property are metal railings with fleur-de-lys terminals, set on a flint plinth with stone coping. The house is included for its group value.
