Description

The former dairy to Lexham Hall, built around 1850, is an octagonal structure made of flint with gault brick dressings and a copper roof. It features opposing doorways, one of which is blocked, both having 2-centred arched heads with gauged brick voussoirs. There are also opposing windows that have 2-light Y-traceried frames and decorative ironwork. Inside, there is a slate shelf supported by Roman Doric columns with capitals and abaci, along with decorative encaustic floor tiles and white glazed wall tiles.
