Description

This milestone, dated 1898, is located on Crews Hill in Alfrick. It is made of cast iron and painted white with black lettering. The milestone has a triangular shape. On the left side, there is a hand pointing right with the inscription "TO WORCESTER 8 MILES" below it. At the base, it reads "MARTLEY RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL 1898." On the right side, a hand points left, and it states "M & W GRAZEBROOK IRON FOUNDERS DUDLEY/ 1898."
