Description

Twigworth Court is an early 19th-century detached farmhouse. It is built of brick with an incised, stuccoed front facade, featuring a moulded cornice along the front and right-hand wall. The main body of the house is rectangular, with a later 19th-century wing extending at right angles to the rear, alongside a contemporary agricultural building. The main facade is three stories high and features a three-window arrangement, with plate glass sash windows, marginal glazing bars, and horns. The central front door has six fielded panels and is set within a gabled, open-sided latticework porch with decorative bargeboards. The rear agricultural building is two stories high, with tall, two-light windows with segmental heads and iron bars on the ground floor, and round-headed windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The main body has a parallel ridged roof with two stacks rising from the valley between the ridges. The interior has not been inspected.
