Description
Twigworth Lodge Hotel is a former house that has been converted into a hotel. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of stuccoed brick with a slate roof and brick stacks. The main building is two storeys high and features five windows. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has 15-pane sash windows. There is a band running between the ground and first floors. The entrance consists of a central part-glazed double door set in a deep reveal, and there is a wrought iron veranda with a curved metal canopy across the front. The roof is hipped. A 20th-century single-storey extension on the right is not of special interest. The interior has not been inspected.
