Description
Park House Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel, dating from around 1840. The building features a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof, designed in a Neo-Classical style. It is two storeys high and has a plinth, a first-floor sill band, a frieze and cornice, a blocking course, and two central ridge stacks, along with two additional ridge stacks at the left and right at the rear. The façade consists of five bays, with the central bay slightly projecting. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with the central first-floor window featuring an incised architrave, while the ground-floor windows have fluted console brackets that support cornices. There are two central half-glazed doors with a moulded architrave, set within a porch that has paired Greek Doric columns supporting a deep entablature, cornice, and blocking course. The left-hand end elevation has four bays.
Inside, the main rooms are decorated with egg and dart enriched cornices, guilloche enriched soffits, and ceiling roses.
