Description
The Former Unicorn Public House is a 17th-century inn that was re-faced around 1800. It features a timber-framed structure with square panels and angle braces, partial rendered facing, and an old tile roof. The building has an L-plan with three framed bays and stands three storeys tall. There is a stack behind the ridge, slightly off-centre to the right above the door, and another stack on the rear wing. The front has three windows, primarily glazing-bar sashes, with the second floor having two-light casements and the first and second floors featuring central blind windows. The entrance includes a central six-flush panelled door with a panelled architrave, frieze, and cornice. To the far left, there is a vehicular entrance with two large boarded doors. Inside, there are moulded bears, and the building was undergoing internal alterations at the time of the last survey.
