Description
The gate piers in front of Wallsworth Hall date from the 18th and 19th centuries and are made of limestone and wrought iron. They consist of square piers constructed from flat-chamfered limestone blocks, featuring moulded cappings. Below the cappings is a Greek key pattern, and at the top, there are heads of rampart lions at the center, flanked by finely crafted wrought iron dragons, which are painted red and black. The 19th-century cast iron gates are not considered of special interest.
