Description

These are two cottages, dating to around the 17th century, with later alterations in the 18th century. Number 9 is largely red brick, although timber framing is visible on its north-east gable. Number 10 is likely 18th century and entirely brick-built. The cottages have steeply pitched plain tile roofs with gabled ends and are arranged in an L-shape. Number 9 is one storey and has an attic; Number 10 is two storeys high. The windows are casements with glazing bars; the north-east gable of Number 9 has a three-light casement window with glazing bars. A gabled dormer window is present on Number 9. The cottages have two modern front doors, and Number 10 has a timber porch. There are three brick chimney stacks.
