Description

This is an early 19th century, or possibly even earlier, timber-framed cottage with red brick infill panels, built upon sandstone foundations. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The left-hand side features a slightly projecting gabled bay which contains a projecting three-light casement window on the ground floor, and a similar three-light casement window set flush in the wall above. To the right of this bay is a pointed plank door, followed by a two-light casement window. A brick chimney stack rises from the ridge of the roof.
