Description

This is an early 19th-century house, though it may have earlier origins. It is constructed of red brick with a low-pitched slate roof featuring gabled ends and wide projecting eaves. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. Steps lead to a central doorway, belonging to number 16, which has a modern door and a modern gabled wooden porch. To either side of the doorway are three-light casement windows with glazing bars. A brick string course runs between the ground and first floors. The upper floor has a central two-light casement window and three-light casement windows to the left and right, all with glazing bars. All windows are set within segmental arched openings. Brick end chimney stacks have pairs of octagonal flues.
