Description
This is a timber-framed building dating from the early 16th century, later faced in red brick during the 18th or early 19th century. It comprises three cottages, numbered 18, 19, and 20, and is located on the south side of Birmingham Road in Stoneleigh. The building has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick modillion eaves cornice on numbers 18 and 19. It is two storeys high with a five-window front. The windows are old two-light casements with glazing bars; the ground floor windows in numbers 18 and 19 are set within segmental-headed openings. Steps lead up to plank doors at numbers 18 and 19, while number 20 has a plank door with a glazed square. Three brick ridge chimney stacks are present. Some timber-framing is visible on the rear wall.
