Description

Stoneleigh Village Club is a mid-19th century building that was formerly a barn or stables and is part of the range known as the 'New Almshouses'. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a plain tiled roof with stone coped gable ends and moulded eaves. The front has two large four-centred arches; the right arch has wooden double doors, while the left arch is blocked with masonry and contains a square-headed mullion/transom diamond pane window with a square drip-mould. There is a narrow four-centred arch doorway with a fanlight situated between the two arches. At the north-east end, there is a lower, slightly set-back wing with a hipped roof and a four-centred arch doorway.
