Description

No. 2 Birmingham Road is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick. It features a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The central entrance is a plank door, flanked by two-light casements with glazing bars on either side, all three ground floor openings are topped with segmental arches. On the first floor, there are two additional two-light casements with glazing bars. A large brick chimney stack is attached to the south-east gable wall, which tapers with a series of splays to a square shaft.
