Description

No. 22 Lechlade Road is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It features mixed red brickwork with burnt headers arranged in a chequer pattern. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, topped with a gabled stone tiled roof and a central brick chimney stack. On the ground floor, there are three windows, while the first floor has two, all with wooden lintels and 6-pane, 2-light wooden casements. The entrance is a plank door, accessed via an elegant wrought iron gate from the 1840s in an Italianate style. This cottage is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
