Description
Nos. 23 and 24 Lechlade Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1890 in the Cotswold vernacular style, designed by Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with stone dressings and feature gabled roofs covered in stone tiles that extend over the eaves. Each house has two storeys and two bays that face at right angles to the road, sharing a centrally placed stone chimney stack. The houses have 4-light mullioned windows with leaded casements. The doorways on the east and west sides are Tudor-arched and feature contemporary plank and batten doors with leaded lights and ogee curved lead hoods.
