Description

17 and 18 The Street are a pair of semi-detached houses built in 1893. Designed in the Cotswold vernacular style by Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates for Alexander Henderson of Buscot Park, this is noted on a window lintel on the east front. The houses are constructed of coursed rubble stone with stone dressings and feature a stone tiled gabled roof with stone stacks at the rear. The two-storey east front has a projecting central gable that includes three-light mullion windows with leaded glazing. The doorways are Tudor-arched and have plank doors.
