Description

No. 17 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched hipped pantile roof with two brick gable stacks at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has three irregular bays, with a band running along the first floor. The central doorway is framed by a gabled open porch and has a segmental head above a five-panel door. To the left of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash window with a segmental head, while to the right is a tripartite fixed window with glazing bars from the 19th century. On the upper floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, both featuring segmental heads.
