Description

West View is a cottage built in 1785, with 20th-century alterations. It features colourwashed brick and a pantile roof with coped and tumbled gables, which continue in a tumbled catslide to the north return. The building has a single storey and an attic, with a three-bay front. The central doorway has a raised keystone inscribed "GB 1785" and a partially glazed panelled door. This doorway is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, also with raised keystones. All three openings have segmental heads. Above, there are two 20th-century gabled dormers with two-light casements under segmental heads.
