Description
Tattershall Bridge Cottage is a cottage built in the early 18th century, with alterations and an addition from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed red brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables and three brick gable stacks. The cottage is single storey with attics and has a five-bay front that includes a brick dogtooth eaves course and a gable band. The central doorway is flanked by pairs of margin light windows that have segmental brick heads. At the eaves level of the roof, there are two gabled two-light dormers with bargeboards and rendered cheeks. At the rear, there is an outshot and to the right, a taller blank wing with a lower pitched roof. Inside, there is a stick baluster stair, and remnants of an earlier timber frame can be seen in two posts.
