Description

These are two cottages, originally a farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century with alterations in the 19th century. The cottages are built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof featuring leaded brick coped tumbled gables and two brick gable stacks. The front has three bays and a dentillated eaves course. The ground floor has a single light set within the blocked doorway, flanked by single sash windows with flat brick gauged arches. Above, there are two sash windows with glazing bars and a single plain sash window to the eaves. A rear extension projects outwards, featuring two windows with cast iron lattice glazing, two 20th-century porches, and two dormer windows in the roof.
