Description
Bridge House is a house built in the early 19th century, with a mid-19th century addition. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, featuring stucco dressings and a hipped slate roof with lead dressings. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door that is accessed by three ashlar steps, accompanied by a plain overlight, panelled reveals, and a wooden Doric surround topped with a triglyph frieze and a narrow leaded hood. Flanking the entrance are single glazing bar sash windows, and on the first floor, there are three similar windows. All windows are adorned with splayed rusticated stucco lintels that have keystones. To the left, there is a lower two-storey single bay service wing, which features a plain sash window on the ground floor and a single glazing bar sash on the first floor.
