Description

This is a brick wall located at the rear of Number 2 in Tattershall Market Place. It dates from the 15th century and may be part of Lord Cromwell's collegiate buildings. The wall is made of red brick laid in English bond and has a slightly battered profile, extending approximately 20 yards in length. It is situated beside a lane opposite the Old College Building. The early brickwork is also visible in the gable wall of the outbuildings associated with Number 2 Market Place. This wall is included in the listing for its group value.
