Description
The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage, now a house, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with brick coped and tumbled gables, along with two red brick gable stacks. The building has a parallel ranges plan and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a traceried fanlight, flanked by half engaged wooden columns that support a dentillated open pediment with paterae. On either side of the entrance are single glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all featuring cambered brick arched heads. To the left, there is an added two-storey, pent-roofed single bay block with a single 20th-century window on each floor.
