Description

Briar Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from red brick and features a pantile roof with two gable stacks. The gables are brick coped and tumbled. The cottage is a single storey plus attic and has three bays. At the center, there is a gabled porch from the 20th century, which has a glazed door. On either side of the porch are single glazing bar sash windows. All ground floor openings are set under segmental arches. In the attic, there are two gabled dormers, each containing a single glazing bar sash window.
