Description
Bramley House is a mid-18th century house with early 19th century alterations, located on the north side of Gedney Church Gate. It is constructed of red brick and has a concrete tile roof. The house features two 19th century gable stacks and tumbled gables. There is a cornice with dentil detailing at the eaves, supported by a moulded wooden cornice. A first-floor band runs around the building. The house is two storeys high plus a garret and has three bays. The central doorway has a panelled and partially glazed door, framed by a pilastered doorcase with a decorative panelled entablature above. The dentil cornice is supported by four decorative brackets. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, with three similar sashes above, all set under segmental arches with flush wedge brick lintels.
