Description
Linden House is an early 18th-century house that was remodeled around 1770 and again in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with two gable stacks. The building has moulded wooden eaves and brick coped and tumbled gables, which show evidence of an earlier single-storey range within the gable wall. The right gable wall has a band. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. The central doorway is adorned with a panelled door and reveal, framed by a moulded doorcase. To the right of the doorway, there is a single small plain sash window from the 20th century, followed by two glazing bar sashes. To the left of the doorway, there are two similar sashes. Above the doorway, there are five glazing bar sashes, all of which have flush wedge brick lintels.
